About the competition

Drontal, Britain’s No.1 pet wormer has launched My Pet Superstar, a nationwide search for Britain’s Top Dog and Top Cat.

The winning Top Dog and Top Cat, as judged by a panel of experts including TV vet Emma Milne, will win fantastic prizes including a holiday, a feature in Your Dog or Your Cat magazine, a digital camera, love2shop vouchers, a magazine subscription and a year's supply of Drontal.

My Pet Superstar is open to anyone who is proud of their pet with four competition categories to enter:

Entertaining – the most talented moggies and doggies with amusing habits/funny mannerisms

Cutest – for cute and cuddly pets that have the ‘aahhhh’ factor

Look-a-like – for pets that resemble a famous celebrity, politician or historical character

Inspirational – for heroic pets that have helped their owners overcome an obstacle in life, motivated them to do something new or simply have a ‘tail’ of courage

How to enter

Entrants need to register and then submit a photo or video of their pet and explain in less than 100 words why they think their pet should win. Click here to enter now.

Pets win prizes!

There are plenty of prizes on offer, in addition to the Top Dog and Top Cat package; there will be a cat and dog winner for each of the four categories and 40 runner-up prizes for the pets that receive the most votes.

Vote to win

You and the public can vote for your favourite photos and/or videos. The pets (cats and dogs) with the most votes per category will win. The next five dogs and cats in each category with the most votes will be runners up. The Top Dog and Top Cat winners will be chosen by a judging panel from all entries. One lucky cat and one lucky dog and their owners will win a fantastic prize package including:-

Category winners

There will be eight category winners in total (four dog and four cat). Each category winner will win:-

Runners-up prizes

Five dogs and cats per category will win runners-up prizes (40 in total) which include:-
